The popular New York City burger joint was looking to break into Seattle, and needed a local partner who knew the lay of the land. Given GreenRubino’s knowledge of the local market and deep experience in launching brands in it (including other burger shops like Caliburger), we were the natural choice.
Through strategic partnerships with iconic Seattle establishments such as Canlis, pop-up events and effectively leveraging GreenRubino’s vast array of local and regional media relations, the excitement building up to Shake Shack’s was palpable.
As it turned out, we blew Shake Shack’s goals out of the water. In fact, one pop-up event had to be closed early because food ran out – but it’s hard to prepare for 10,000 RSVPs when your goal is 3,000.
Shake Shack’s permanent location has been opened since and has garnered over 300 million media impressions in the process.
