Strong identity design is always about keeping the brand moving forward. This was especially true when Microsoft Connector enlisted GreenRubino to help create a cohesive visual presence for its transportation fleet that shuttles Microsoft employees throughout corporate campus locations and neighborhoods in the Puget Sound. The fleet services were launched as an easier, more environmentally friendly alternative to car travel and even allowed commuters to be productive en route with Wi-Fi and email access. Keeping this in mind, GreenRubino created an extensive visual identity system with fluid motion graphics, organic shapes and environmentally friendly green hues. The GR team designed the system and then produced, fabricated and installed the system on a wide variety of vehicles from large coach buses all the way down to small hybrid and electric sedans. The Microsoft Connector fleet launched with much fanfare and continues to evolve with new vehicles and neighborhood routes coming online. With over 300 vehicles seen every day throughout the region, this transportation system really is making a connection.
