The Emerald City has always been on the forefront of things passive aggressive and rain-related, but now, thanks to Seattle City Light, we can add green energy to our brag list. What does green energy mean to the average Joe Blowdryer? Lots. It means salmon salute you and Mother Nature counts you as a friend. Not to mention all the saving the planet stuff. Did we mention it barely costs you anything? Oh, well Seattle City Light did in print ads, and bus boards, and expertly written radio spots. We also redesigned their website to tell the story of “the nation’s greenest power company.”
These potentially world-saving but simple messages were driven home by the hand of green power Zeus which served as a powerful uniting image and vehicle for “Green Power to the People.” It’s hard to ignore things like zero carbon footprint, clean hydroelectric energy, and a giant fist throwing a lightning bolt of leaves, or so we’ve heard.
